Dominant ideology is another one of the binary oppositions. The dominant ideology is people/objects that are shown in the dominant world, they are shown in the big hollywood blockbusters. Often people that fall under oppositional ideology want to look like and be the people that are in the dominant ideology as they see them as being perfect.
